Our house was the model home in our neighborhood and the builders left several pieces of art behind. Not liking the old landscapes they left behind I decided to utilize the materials and create my own kind of art:

I made Christmas cookies and prepared frosting for Christmas eve:

Mama Wright and Katherine were excellent artists! I especially love the cookie in the lower right hand corner that is supposed to be Andrew that Mama Wright made.

Reindeer

I wish I'd used a colored background or something. He's not my favorite.

First Christmas Ornament

Vinyl is fun to play with, but taking a photo of a clear ornament is tricky stuff:

Heart Shadow Box

It has been a bit since I made this and all of the little hearts have shifted. 

Hubby thinks it looks cool that way, but advice to any who want to try it, use a substantial sticking agent... glue.
