I don't know that I'll make it to midnight. I'm more of a morning person than a night owl.
I am really bad with numbers and letters. It also doesn't help that I was too lazy to run downstairs and grab a smaller icing tip.

Silhouette Cameo Cupcake Holder
I don't think this thing would actually be functional, at least not the way it turned out for me. There are some little pouches and things that I really do want to try with the Silhouette Cameo that I think would be so cute for gifts. More to come!

Doggie Vinyl Decal
I've always wanted to add a vinyl decal to my macbook air. Now I have one that's personalized!
The little letters are really hard to get in one piece. I initially had little doggie footprints trailing behind my little fur babies, but they didn't survive.

Silhouette
I received a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas!
There are so many possible projects I can work on with this machine. I'm overwhelmed to start!
After looking through the purchasable options I realized I could import my own images for free. Found some great images on Google image search and popped them in the program to make this:

You can do vinyl lettering and stencils, paper art, sewing projects, iron on transfers, scrapbooking and who knows what else. So excited to spend some time playing with this thing.

Snow Scene Cookies
I really like how these turned out. Was going for something similar to my New Year's skyline cookies. Loving my cute platter too!

Maple Pecan Pie
I realized I didn't have much corn syrup so I used maple syrup. I've only made a pecan pie one other time so I'm excited that this one turned out so well.
Honestly my first time to make a pie crust from scratch.

Silhouette Street Fighter Sketches
I made some gifts for others using the sketching pens that come with my Silhouette Cameo. I really love that I can add any image into the program, select the tracing tool, and establish the sketching or cutting lines I want the machine to perform. Love this thing!

These images are from Google image search. I don't know who originally drew them, but would give them credit if I did...

Santa's Boots Cookies
I am a little bored with the cookie cutters I have this year so I'm going to buy some new ones for next year.

Starflake Cookies
I shouldn't have photographed these on a silver platter as it really washed out the color, but I'm too lazy to photo them again.

Mindy's Christmas Train Cake
While at my sister's house for Thanksgiving she showed me how to properly work with fondant. It was so much easier than when I tried it myself. I can't believe I put myself through that! Look how cute her train cake is!

Christmas Mittens
My sister wanted me to help her out with the royal icing so she could see the consistency I use and what I consider my 15 seconds before the drag in the icing closes. I hope she got it because I feel really unclear after showing her lol. I just know it works for me.
These are the few that Mindy thought were rejects. Poor little mittens. Sure were tasty.

Dinosaur Cookies
My nephew got me some awesome dinosaur cookie cutters for Christmas which I was able to use while visiting for Thanksgiving.
Some of the cookies suffered the casualty of moving and rearranging along with sneaky eaters. Despite their unfortunate accidents, I love the wounded cookies.

Half Apron
I don't own any half aprons so I thought I'd make one.
If I do this again I would make it a bit smaller. It's functional and all, but just think it'd be cuter if it were a little smaller. Sorry, no model available so you'll have to use your imagination as to what it looks like when worn.
My sewing buddy.

Calm
Life can be stressful. I know I go through my fair share. I just found this site and I love it!

Doggie Bed
I've been looking for a bed for Schubert, but haven't found anything really cute and sturdy. Mozart went through so many beds before we found one he wouldn't destroy that I have no doubt he'll go right through Schubert's beds as well. I decided to take on this endeavor myself with a twist on the classic tie blankets.
So far I haven't been able to get Schubert to actually lay on the thing, but he's getting closer.
It's cheap enough and easy enough to make that it won't be nearly as infuriating when Mozart shreds the thing.

Doggy Bands
Schubert peed on the floor 4 times in a 20 minute span on Saturday. He hasn't had any accidents since, but my paranoia led me to research belly bands for male puppies.
The idea behind the bands is that you can use absorbent pads with them to keep your floors clean and the puppy does not like the feeling of being soiled so they'll learn not to mark within the house.
We'll see how these go!

Doggie Jacket
Schubert got a haircut today and the poor thing looks like a little rat. I made him a jacket to wear in case he gets cold without any hair.
I have a couple fancy ideas to add to the next one when he's full grown, but decided to make this one pretty simple.
My model doesn't really cooperate very well...
